Kusal Subasinghe

Kusal Subasinghe founded Chambers Colombo in 1995 and has led the firm as Partner since. An Attorney-at-Law with an MBA and a Fellowship of the Institute of Professional Financial Managers (UK), he combines legal practice with a sustained interest in the management standards by which professional services are delivered.
Under his leadership the firm became one of the first law practices in Sri Lanka to obtain ISO 9001 certification for the management of its legal services — a certification renewed in every assessment cycle since 2015.
His practice concentrates in commercial and corporate work: transactions, joint ventures, banking, and the structuring questions that sit behind them. He acts for local enterprises, multinationals entering the Sri Lankan market, financial institutions, and governments.
